Features
The coach app and the client app, screen by screen. Everything in this tour is in the first release. Screens use sample data.
Today.
The whole day on one screen: today's session as a single big word, the week as seven bars, and what is due.
- The week reads the same on every screen, Monday to Sunday.
- Tasks, weigh-ins and the next form review sit in one row.
- Notes from the coach appear where the client will see them.
Workout.
Every exercise has a video, written steps and a simple set table. The rest timer sits at the bottom, out of the way.
- Last time and the personal best show above the table.
- Kilograms and reps, one tap per set.
- Finish shows time, work sets and total lifted, counted up once.
Food Time.
Log a meal with a photo that stays on the phone, a barcode scan, or a search by name that forgives typos.
- Meals sit under the day's total, so the day reads at a glance.
- Photos are not uploaded. They stay on the client's phone.
- The coach sees the meals the client chooses to log.
Form review.
On review days the client films each lift for 20 seconds. The coach watches, draws over the movement and writes a note.
- The coach marks the clip, draws on it and sends a correction.
- Clips go to the current coach only, and only with the client's consent.
- The client can switch the videos off or delete them at any time.
Good bar path. Hips drop below the knee on the last rep, so keep that depth on every rep. Drawn over the clip.
Messages.
Chat between coach and client, with video and voice notes from the coach, seen receipts and a ten-minute unsend.
- Text from both sides. Video and voice notes from the coach.
- Notifications say that a message is waiting, never what it says.
- Everything stays in one thread per client.
Progress.
Six areas scored out of 100: strength, stamina, mobility, consistency, nutrition and recovery. Start, target and now are three different shapes.
- A streak is gold, never red.
- A missed day is coral and labelled.
- The coach sets the goal and the plan. The client cannot move them.
The clients who need you.
The coach's home puts the people who need attention first, with each client's week as the same seven bars.
- A form video to mark, a missed week, a message waiting.
- Adherence across every client in one line.
- Open a client to see their plan, notes and history.
Exercise library.
A library of exercises with videos and written steps, which the coach can add to with their own video or a YouTube link.
- Search by name or muscle.
- Build workouts and whole programmes from the library, then assign them to clients and dates.
- Written guides are written by PT Track with help from AI, checked by us.
Your data.
The client's own page for what PT Track holds. A copy, the consents and the account are all in one place, in the app.
- Switch each consent on or off.
- Ask for a copy of the data.
- Delete the account. It goes in 7 days, and the client can stop it before then.
Every feature.
Everything here is in the first release unless it is marked Coming next.
The client app
PT Track, free for clients. The coach invites them.
Today's session as one big word, the week as seven bars, the day's tasks, the next session and notes from the coach.
Every exercise with a video, written steps and a set table for kilograms and reps. Last time and the best lift sit beside it. A rest timer rises after each set, timed holds count down on their own, and ten set types run from warm-up to superset, drop set, AMRAP and EMOM.
Time, work sets and total lifted, counted up once. It is the only celebration in the app.
The week and the month. Move a workout to a later day in the same week, catch up a missed one, and say why: ill, injured, busy. Sessions with the coach appear on their days and in the phone's own calendar.
Clients choose their own rest days. The coach's routine moves around them with no work for the coach.
Post a meal with a photo that stays on the phone, scan a barcode, or search by name with typos forgiven, including dishes from around the world. Calories and fifteen nutrients per meal, all 46 a tap away, or hide the numbers. Recipes from the coach arrive with a Make it button.
On review days the client films each lift for 20 seconds. The coach grades it, draws over the moving video and can send a short correction. Clips go to the current coach only, and the client can withdraw consent at any time.
Chat with the coach, including the coach's video and voice notes. Seen receipts, unsend for ten minutes, and notifications that never show the words.
A six-area profile (strength, stamina, mobility, consistency, nutrition, recovery) scored out of 100 against the plan the coach wrote. Weight and waist logged in the app, and heart rate from a watch.
The goal in the client's own words, a reason for training and an event date. The coach sets the numbers.
Seven health questions and an emergency contact before any training. A coral Stop button for injury sits in every workout and tells the coach at once.
Download a copy, delete the account, switch each consent on or off. 18 and over only, checked by date of birth.
The coach app
PT Track Coach, for the personal trainer.
Who needs you, in order, with the week's adherence across every client as seven bars. When nothing is waiting the screen says so and shows what is coming up.
Invite by name and email. Each client has one page: overview, training calendar, routine, sessions, private notes, health answers, goal, tasks, metrics, food, form reviews and messages, with pause and end coaching.
Routines are a week that repeats and stays filled two weeks ahead. Workouts use ten set types and supersets, carry a coach's cue on each exercise, and can be given to a client from a chosen day. Editing a saved day asks whether to update the upcoming ones.
439 of PT Track's own exercises with written guides: numbered steps, a tip and a watch-out. The guides are written by PT Track with help from AI and checked by us. Coaches add their own clips of up to 30 seconds, or YouTube links, shown to all their clients.
Every client's week and month in one place. Lock a workout to a day, and see at a glance what is done, missed, moved or stopped for injury.
Choose monthly, fortnightly or weekly. The app suggests a small step up for each lift and the coach confirms or changes it. Grade each clip, draw a pen, line or angle over the video, record a correction and send all the grades together.
Text, video up to 60 seconds, voice notes and clips from the coach's own library. One search across every conversation.
Build a recipe with its nutrients and rough cost, then send it to the clients whose food answers allow it.
Dated, newest first, the coach's alone. A client can ask for a copy, so the app reminds the coach to write only what they would be happy for the client to read.
Starter, Pro and Studio for up to 8, 20 and 50 clients. New coaches start with a free period, shown in the store before you subscribe. The subscription is taken through the app store you download from.
Coming next
Dashed means planned. Nothing here is switched on at launch.
Clients book a time and pay for a one-to-one session, in person or on video, inside the app. Each coach uses their own Stripe account, chooses a 12, 24 or 48 hour cancelling window, and video calls are never recorded.
Coming nextOptional and off until the client says yes. Members of the same gym, or a coach's other clients, can share finished workouts, meals and best lifts, and join in. Sharing is always the client's own choice.
Coming nextDaily targets and meal plans set by the coach, switched on once reviewed numbers are in.
Coming nextA short video of the client at three, six and twelve months of the coach's plan, labelled as a projection and shown only with the coach's approval and the client's explicit consent.
Coming nextPlanned: a gym's name and logo at the top of its members' app, with the gym's own trainers coaching inside it.
